THE PROBLEM
Your data shouldn't be shipped away for processing
We hold potentially sensitive data as part of your testing programme.
Survey responses can contain user concerns or frustrations. Experiment hypotheses could contain flaws in the site, or admissions of competitive failings.
Most platforms think it's acceptable to ship these off to Google / Anthropic / OpenAI's APIs for use in their AI features. They process your data, often retain histories, and you lose control of your own data. If it then feeds their models, becomes searchable to your competitors or even creates competitive businssess - there's nothing you can do about it.
We don't think that's acceptable.
WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT
01 - You're uploading potentially sensitive data
Not PII, but business knowledge in masses. Competitive shortcomings, innovative ideas, user frustrations - all uploaded to 3rd party platforms.
02 - To train their models
Your data can train other people's models. Subprocessors agreements, and no clear definition of who is allowed to access and retain what.
03 - We've seen leaks happen over the years
ChatGPT leaked conversation titles in 2023. Deepseek leaked full chat histories in 2025. There's no such thing as being fully secure.
