They work with over 500 locations and their many years of experience means they can guarantee you the very best selection of offers available to book online. Their experts offer friendly and personal advice to help you find your perfect spa experience.
SpaSeekers operate in a highly competitive market. Whilst they have good traffic to their site and a high number of people browsing their spa packages, research identified that there was a high number of people browsing on the site and exploring the different deals available. However, once visitors had accessed information about the hotel, the pattern showed that 10% of users would either go to hotel site directly or compare it on another site.
This meant that users weren’t converting and there was a high drop off rate rather than adding to basket.

Webtrends Optimize completed a review of the website and came up with a strategy for what the client should do next. It was identified that there was more that could be more done to effectively convey the experience, reliability and exclusivity of the SpaSeekers deals to visitors. Drawing on our extensive experience in the travel and leisure industry, we proposed a tailored CRO roadmap.
The hypothesis was that if we communicate the value of SpaSeekers at this point in the users’ journey, they will be more likely to continue to check out on their site.
Working alongside Sharper Digital, Webtrends Optimize ran an experiment that meant a message popped up before customers could leave their site highlighting the advantages of booking with SpaSeekers. Specifically, when a user copied a hotel name, this message appeared, utilising exit intent popups.
This pop-up appeared to remind users of the credibility of SpaSeekers and to provide additional information about the ways in which they can help visitors to find their perfect spa experience.
When run on mobile devices during a test period of 43 days, the experiment generated a +5.41% lift in conversions to people selecting hotels. There was also a +26.73% lift in conversions to purchase.
Based on similar traffic, rolling this experiment out to 100% of users could drive an additional 122 spa experiences purchased each quarter.
